I’m finding it difficult to not spend all my studio time working on It’s Plunger Monkey Dynamo Time!, I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing. I’m making some progress towards some big goals/ambitions…but I’m completely not touching some others. Hrm. I need better time management skills, but that’s nothing new.

What is new (see what I did there?) is that my good friend and his wife are due to have their first child any time now. Obviously this called for the traditional, custom PMD card:

No, this doesn’t imply having a kid is like dealing with a squid…why would you ask that?

Welcome to the chaos guys!

In other news…well, I kind of already covered that up above, didn’t I? Still lots of things on back burners, but so far I’m pretty happy with how well the comic strip is going. I’m still well ahead on completed strips and I haven’t hit a wall for ideas yet. Any time I’ve felt on the verge of not knowing what was going to happen next, an idea would hit me out of the blue. Hopefully that keeps up. I have a few other projects I need to be working on, though, like camp shirts, a gift for someone, a gift for someone else, helping my son get his patrol flag finished up, a logo for my cousin (though I’m waiting for feedback on the design)…I’m going to have start working nights instead of relaxing. I periodically come into the studio late at night once the rest of the house is asleep, but I tend to lose track of time and then not be anywhere near ready to sleep when I’m done. If I try to do that for a week or so, I’m hurting by the weekend, especially when you add into that some of my more intense workouts. I need a helper monkey.
