INKTOBER 52 2023 Day #20: SKATE.

So, I don’t have a connection to skating or skateboarding at all, other than briefly playing that Tony Hawk game in my youth, and that one time I went rollerblading with my cousin and sanded off a few layers of skin because I didn’t know how to slow down. I do have a slight connection to skates, the fish, from having grown up at the beach every summer. I never saw a live one in the wild (I think I did see one or two dead, desiccated ones washed up on the rocks over the years), but I would sometimes find their egg sacks, which I thought were neat. Anyway, once again, I didn’t want to take the easy, obvious route with the prompt and just have PMD skating or skateboarding or something, I really wanted to go with the animal angle. Somehow, my Brain settled on this.
