INKTOBER 2025 Day #22: BUTTON.

“Do you know how in cartoons, especially some of the older ones (I’m thinking of a very specific Bugs Bunny cartoon with a pair of gangsters), when someone would tell a talkative character to ‘button their lip’ or ‘button it’ or something and the character would literally seal their lips together with a button? Yeah, that used to freak me out. I don’t know why, really. I’m honestly only realizing that it bothered me in hindsight. Of course, the irony of my version of that old cartoon trope is that PMD doesn’t talk. I think that actually makes this more disturbing to me.”
