Project Description
INKTOBER 2025 Day #30: VACANT.
“I think I’ve spent a good chunk of my life with a vacant expression on my face. It’s not that my Brain switches off and is devoid of thought, it’s just that I’m daydreaming and only tethered to reality via my meat mech most people call a body. I think some people would consider that problematic behavior, but I disagree (and can’t really help going on adventures in my mind anyway). My daydreams enrich my life and help me grow as a person. They run the gamut from juvenile power fantasies beating up ‘bad guys’ to problem solving various house projects; crafting images to draw, stories to tell, and things to make; envisioning what it might be like to be successful and achieve certain goals; reenacting personal interactions to figure out how they could have gone better; even getting into imaginary arguments and debates about subjects. And so much more. I believe all that makes my Brain stronger, more prepared, and more aware of the lives and experiences of other people and the world around me…at least once I finally stop daydreaming and am present in the real world.”
