There are some beautiful red pine trees  bordering the sports field at camp. This one had some cool shadows falling on it in the morning, which I didn't quite capture

There was no shortage of cool trees in our campsite, though we weren't there frequently enough for me to draw more than this one.

On the heals of my unfinished pinecone, I picked up another one at the sports field and got a little further on this one.

Just like last year, I picked up a pinecone in the handicraft program area, but ran out of time to finish it. Pinecones are fascinating and intricate marvels of nature.

There's a really nice, big tree at the camp waterfront near the picnic table I frequently sit at while the boys swim. This would be that tree.
