I really liked this bit, particularly PMD’s “oof” sign lingering in panel as he’s Force Pushed away. My “style” is still evolving, and one of the things I started trying to experiment with right around this strip was a little trick thing I picked up from Frank Cho and Nate Van Dyke, which is to add little rectangular or triangular marks just poking out of some of the thicker contour lines around fleshy areas to create a greater sense of volume. I don’t do it nearly as well as either of those amazing artists, but I’m learning and growing.
