I’m rather happy with the first panel over all, not thrilled with my emphasis lines in the last panel. That’s an art form unto itself. The Squid of Destiny is one of those Brainisms, it just popped into my head one day. There’s a reference buried in the back of my mind somewhere to the old Wolfenstein: Spear of Destiny game, which I played obsessively (back when I had time for such things)(…I just looked it up and it appears it was initially released in 1992?! That’s, like, too many years ago…)
