1 Column Classic

Just like cooking, this award was tough to design and have it look interesting. Again, nothing overtly Star Wars (other than the Rebel symbol), but it did allow me to experiment and learn a lot about the functionality of Clip Studio Paint.

This award design was a little challenging in terms of managing the halftones and making sure they were different enough. This was another twist on a standard Klondike station. Instead of just tying knots, the scouts had to assemble a "tow cable" from some smaller, different sized ropes, attach one end to their sled,

Another fun award design: First Aid. Normal Klondike events might task the scouts with dealing with broken bones, shock, frostbite, etc. For the Star Wars Klondike? It was a Wampa attack (which would kind of be similar to a bear attack).

This was a fun award to draw, and it turned out to be a really fun station, too. The scouts had to build fires to burn strings that in turn released a log that crashed into an "ATST" (a stack of boxes with ATST silhouettes taped to them).

I struggled with the image for this award, as there wasn't really anything blatantly Star Wars I could come up with, other than the glass of blue milk (which obviously isn't blue).

In addition to the 1st-4th place awards, I also designed awards to go along with each station.

Part of the reason working on this event sucked all of my personal time away was due to the opportunities for custom Star Wars art inherent in the theme. Being the artist, I couldn't NOT generate a bunch of art for this. I designed all of the awards, which were laser engraved/burned onto wooden
