Project Description

When I was a scout, my troop had official “class B” shirts, meaning a troop shirt that wasn’t the full dress uniform. It was great when heading off to camp, as we could still look like a group without worrying too much about getting our nice uniforms dirty. Once my oldest son crossed over into Boy Scouts, I started kicking around the idea of designing a logo of sorts for his troop, since they didn’t have one of their own. Several years later, and after I became the scoutmaster, I finally sat down and came up with this design. My hope is that every scout and leader will eventually have enough of these that they can wear one every day during summer camp. As is standard practice for me, I came up with a dozen or more variations (I have commitment issues), which were whittled down to 4 by the adult volunteers. The scouts themselves got to vote on those 4 designs and this is the one they chose to represent them as a troop.
